Just taking a leisurely Saturday stroll along #TaoIsland in #Tonga! I heard about this tiny uninhabited island by a couple of people but as I asked around, none of the locals had ever heard of it. It took researching its whereabouts on 5 different maps to figure out the precise location of this place, since it's not a tourist location. I ended up questioning local fishermen at the wharf where this island was, and if they could take me there. Turns out one really kind guy named Johntie knew the place I was talking about, so him, myself and a couple of his friends traveled two hours by little motor boat to get there. And let me tell you... it did not disappoint! The jet lag had finally caught up to me and it was one of those days where I really needed to recoup, but sometimes it's important to muster up every last ounce of energy you have in you in order to accomplish your goals. I got to this little island and it was absolutely stunning! There were about 20 palm trees and it takes 3 minutes to walk around the whole thing! Though upon arriving back at the wharf, I realized my wallet had fallen out of my bag on the island, so we had to travel 4 hours RT to get it, which means I missed my flight and had to reschedule everything. But, so is life!
