He tried to hide his final decision about playing at World Cup in China, he hinted that he needs to speak to his manager and family, but all those stories were not completely true.
Espreso.co.rs got to the bottom of the story that the whole planet was waiting for - Nikola Jokić will play at the World Cup at the end of August, and the first half of the September.
That information came through after Nikola's fifth prom anniversary, where he has told his friends that HE WILL PLAY for Eagles (nickname of the Serbian national basketball team).
Last time he played for Serbia was at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he won the silver medal, after a loss by the USA Dream team in the final.
So, now the cards are on Aleksandar Đorđević's side of the table, and if he decides to call upon Jokić, one of the best centers in the NBA will be a part of the Serbia squad.
Then - who knows? Even the gold medal isn't that far...
